HPV 1
Hpv 1 wart strain (benign nongenital skin wart such as plantar and common warts) is not the same as the HPV genital strains linked to lichen sclerosus and cervical dysplasia.
Some types of the virus are associated with the abnormal Pap smear tests and are related to cervical, and other types of cancers. Some types of the virus tend to cause genital warts. The human papilloma virus is sometimes called the wart virus or genital wart virus.
