Human Papillomavirus Virus
The presence of the human papillomavirus virus will often indicate other infections present such as vaginosis or a urinary infection.
There are over 60 strains of the disease; some are more dangerous than others. The disease often has no noticeable symptoms. The infection is widespread, however, few people are even aware that they are infected. HPV is among the most prevalent sexually transmitted infections in the world.
