HPV Infection
When diagnosed with an hpv infection, a colposcopy and cryotherapy are often involved, with this infection being linked to miscarriage and cancer.
They are identified with numbers and certain types are transmitted primarily through sexual contact. This virus causes warts of the hands and feet, as well as warts of the mucous membranes of the oral, anal and genital cavities. The Human Papilloma viruses are a group of more than 100 different types.

It is common to have more than one strain of the virus and not all strains have symptoms. There are treatments available to remove the warts, and are often temporary. There are 30 types of the genital virus, approximately five are associated with cancerous and pre-cancerous conditions.
