HPV Dysplasia

Special examination, called a colposcopy (often accompanied with a biopsy), may be necessary to determine the nature of the problem by looking at the cervix through a colposcope. This virus increases the risk of developing abnormal changes of the cervix and may lead to cervical cancer.
