The human papillomavirus virus is a group of strains that include genital human papilloma virus types and is linked to other infections such as vaginitis.
There are over 60 strains of the disease; some are more dangerous than others. The disease often has no noticeable symptoms. The infection is widespread, however, few people are even aware that they are infected. HPV is among the most prevalent sexually transmitted infections in the world.
