Human Papilloma Virus Transmission




The human papilloma virus transmission can occur with skin to skin contact and is associated with vaginosis and urinary infection. Warts in children should prompt possible sexual abuse, though; the germ can also be transmitted without the actual sexual intercourse. HPV is transmitted by direct skin-to-skin contact. Genital warts can be seen in up to 10 percent of sexually active women.
