Some strains of humanpapilloma lead to ASCUS and other genital disorders; urethritis is a very serious complication of such conditions.
Some types of HPV can cause not only genital infections, but also cervical cancer and other genital cancers. About 30 types of them are spread through sexual contact. Most strains of the virus are rather harmless. Scientists have identified more than 100 types of HPV.
