Human Pappiloma Virus
A human pappiloma virus affects the cervix and leads to vaginosis, dysplasia and other disorders.
There are approximatly 90 strains of the germ. Pap smear screening determines the presence of abnormal cells and the presence of infection. Though, in many cases, infected people do not have genital warts. Genital warts are the most easily recognized sign of genital HPV infection.
